Trinity Methodist Church Chelmsford is a Registered Charity, the number is 1144617

Situated on the west side of Chelmsford within a few mintutes walking distance of the bus station, Chelmford railway station and the town centre. The building was opened in 1961 and has extensive facilities. 

The worship area, which seats up to 220 people. The communion rails and other furniture are removable for special services or can also be removed to allow the three tier platform to be used for a choir or concert. The church has a pipe organ and a piano and is fitted with PA and 'loop system' We also have facilities for video/computer projection.

The premises include a large hall at the second floor level, three meeting rooms, vestry, church office 'The Link ' is adjacent to the church at ground level. The Link will seat up to 70 people and has full kitchen facilities. 

The meeting rooms are available for private hire and the church hosts many local charitable societies like the AA, Co-Op bereavement group, Homestart for families with young children, The National Trust and uniform groups: scounts and brownies.

Trinity Methodist is the home of Trinity Music and Drama, an exceptional amateur group often performing at the main Chelmford Theatre.

For many years the church has supported charities around the world through it's One World Projects. The current project is to provide heating and light in an orphanage in Kenya.
